Arrived Safely

Thanks so much for the birthday wishes and the prayers. We arrived safely last night after a day of travel and about 11 hours on the bus. My day started with my friend singing me "Happy Birthday" while lighting a candle on top of a brownie....all at the beginning of our bus ride. I loved it. Good thing they are a little more relaxed with things like that here:) My friend also got me donuts from USA Donuts. They really did taste like the real thing, which was a treat for me. It's been a long time since I have had one!

The place here is great. My friend and I worked through Khmer New Year, which is the time when everyone gets vacation, so that we could take a few days off at another time. We are at a place right on the beach. It's beautiful here. And quiet. Just what I need to relax. Hopefully I will be able to upload some pictures at another time! Until then...
