Thank you Vista!

This morning we woke and prepared for the day with breakfast of Dragon Fruit (sort of like big kiwis), peanut butter, toast, and other wonderful treats like coffee! After our delicious breakfast we began to sort through all of the things people have brought with them to donate to the orphanages, here in Thailand and in Cambodia. Each person able to pack 1 50lb bag for their own needs, and 1 additional bag filled with goods to donate. There is an incredible amount of wonderful gifts for the children and their schools. People have brought blankets, school supplies, medical needs, coloring books, games like Uno and Jacks, DVDs, classroom curriculum and tons of candy treats for the children.

Vista kindly gave Jen and I (Cristen) the opportunity to purchase things for the different orphanages and this is a photo of all of the lovely things we've brought with us. Thank you to Vista for all of your support of these children and the staff in the schools and orphanages. We purchased prenatal vitamins, cough syrup, ibuprofen and tylenol, toothbrushes and toothpaste, and lots of coloring books. We also purchased some separate things to give to the children at the orphanage Vista is supporting - each of the children will receive one coloring book, one box of crayons, and some finger nail polish - just for fun! Some things, like prenatal vitamins, they are unable to purchase in Thailand and Cambodia, so each of us worked to bring these special things with us on our way over.

The second photo is of our group sorting and unpacking and repacking the goods that people have brought - and Jen successfully got me "blogging" in the photo too! 

Thank you Vista for all of your wonderful support! We're going to be heading off to worship soon and to spend some more time with the children this morning.
