I spent time loading programs back onto my computer last night so that I could upload some photos from the past week for you...starting with a couple of shots of the city. I live in an apartment building that is relatively tall with a great view of the city from the roof. I like going up there to take it all in. These shots provide a better glimpse of what the city is like.




Last Saturday, I got to hang out with the kids and play some games. I am glad to do whatever they want when I visit...and was glad when they pulled out some indoor games. It was so hot that day, and I think they agreed. The prime spot was in front of the fan!

I was able to teach the kids a couple of games using Khmer. My language skills are getting better. I am now able to have small conversations with the kids. It's good to be able to communicate without having to rely on others. But, the more I know, the more I want to know.

The boys played a game of Jenga with me. Yes, I won.

They had fun building a racetrack out of the blocks for their cars.

I love how Pisey gets on the floor to play with the kids. It's beautiful family time.

What a great family game time we had. I so love these kids. Can't wait till more of you get to come and meet them. I am sure they will steal your heart as well!
