Update

Before I get to my update, I wanted to share something really important that I found out the other day. The large cockroaches here....they can fly. Yep, fly. After dinner the other night at Steve's Steakhouse (which by the way has a country western theme. In Cambodia. Go figure.)....after dinner, my friends and I saw that they had a pool table and decided to play a game. Or in my case, attempt to play. While standing by the table, a cockroach flew up and landed on my arm. Disgusting! I oh so deftly swiped it away and did a graceful dance out of the way. Then it flew to land on my friend. I spent the rest of the night being grossed out!

Even with the bugs and heat and dirt and other third world joys....I still love it here. It still feels like home. And I know that my time here is not done yet. There is still more that I am supposed to do. Still more ways that I am called to serve. Still more people yet to meet. More lives to touch and be touched by.

Many of you have been asking what's next for me. I am going to be back in the states at the beginning of July for two months, and then returning back here in September for at least another year. So, between now and then, I will be learning as much language as I can, spending quality time with our kids, and continuing to help at Daughters of Cambodia. (Read the earlier post if you haven't heard about that part yet.)

There is much to be done before I leave in July...and much to be done before I come back again. Your prayers are greatly appreciated! Thanks for taking this journey with me. It's not done yet. Where will it lead next?! Can't wait to find out.
