Good morning from LA,
Flight out of Columbus was delayed an hour and half and put us in LAX 1:15 am EST.
The flight was uneventful except for the in flight movie - Wild Hogs (comedy) - 4 middle-aged bikers(John Travolta, Tim the Tool Man and others)going on a road trip to the west coast. Pretty lame overall - remake of City Slickers and CS2 - only not as good. I give it a 1 airplane snack out of 5. Jen listened to the movie but played Sudoku and Yatzee on her hand-held. She'd probably give it a lower rating. By the way, I love the sweet cookie wafers they serve! Yummie!
We're staying at the lovely Ramada LAX - EL SEGUNDO (don't beleive the pictures on the internet) more like EL SEGRUNGO! It is nice to see palm trees out the window - currently the highlight here of the day for me.
We are excited to be going to Cambodia to re-engage with those that we've met before and to make new friends for life.
We will be leaving LAX (short of delays) around 1:30 pm LA time.
Not sure when we will be able to blog again until we reach Cambodia. We'll try at every available internet cafe on the way.
